Virginia/DC/Maryland friends,

Bonny Doon, Two Shepherds, Tablas Creek, Ridge, and many other notable Rhone Rangers are coming to Washington, DC!   The Rhone Rangers are a group of ~150 wineries committed to making wines from the 22 grape varieties originally made famous in France’s Rhone Valley — from Syrah to Viognier to Mourvèdre, Grenache and Roussanne.

On Wednesday, June 4, the Rhone Rangers will be pouring over 80 American Rhone-style wines at the Screen Shot 2014-05-24 at 10.30.14 PMyear’s only Rhone Rangers tasting event in DC!

Join me!   DrinkWhatYouLike is giving away a pair of VIP tickets ($180 value) to the Rhone Rangers Grand Tasting.   The Grand Tasting will be held at the Long View Gallery (1234 9th Street, Washington, DC), from 5:30 to 9pm.

Virginia wine fans, Mike Heny from Horton Vineyards will be at the event representing the Commonwealth, pouring their Viognier.
