Somehow this post slipped through the cracks… I wrote this post several weeks ago, but never posted it for some reason – perhaps that’s an oman.

true-earthIn Orlando tonight, eating take out at the hotel, vegging and watching football – Carolina and Tampa Bay (are there any Tampa Bay fans left in the world?).

True Earth Chardonnay

I picked this up at a Liquor & Wine Shop near UCF for $12.99.  13.7% alcohol.   Produced by Three Thieves, and made from organically grown grapes from Mendocino County.  The vineyard is CCOF certified.  A simple chardonnay, clean and crisp.  Golden yellow color with green apple and pear on the nose.  Moderate acidity with flavors of green apple and lemon/lime.

This is a reasonably good effort at this price point for an organic wine.
